After a brief break from the public eye following the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Zara and Mike Tindall were all smiles as they arrived at Wimbledon today on day two of the Championships.
The husband and wife duo are the first members of the royal family to attend the 2022 edition of the legendary tennis tournament and dressed the role in coordinated white attire.
Zara, 41, showed off her style credentials in a belted white Ralph Lauren shirt dress with a Chanel shoulder bag and her Illesteva tortoiseshell sunglasses while Mike, 43, teamed dark trousers with a white shirt, a stone jacket and a striped tie.
But it was Zara’s shoes that immediately caught our attention.
The Queen’s granddaughter was seen wearing a pair of summer wedge espadrilles from the same brand frequented by Zara’s cousins-in-law: Meghan Markle and the Duchess of Cambridge.
Castañer espadrilles are very popular with female members of the royal family for events such as Wimbledon, or when walking is involved, for their sturdy yet elegant shape.

Meghan and Kate, both 40, have at least one pair of Carina-style wedges from the Spanish brand, which feature a comfortable 80mm heel with a canvas-covered toe and a wrap-around ankle strap.
The Duchess of Cambridge most recently wore her £120 pair of £80 Carina suede wedge espadrilles for an appearance in Cambridgeshire last week as she and Prince William unveiled their first official painted portrait together.
A regular at Wimbledon, Kate is known to be a huge fan of the game, took over the patronage of the Lawn Tennis Association from the Queen in 2016 and is a regular in the royal box at the Championships. She even had a match with one of the UK’s biggest sports stars, US Open champion Emma Raducanu.

It looks like Zara pulled a leaf from Kate’s style book to stay comfortable at the South London tournament, as the former Olympian also opted for the same Castaner shows to attend the competition the year last.
Zara and Mike Tindall have attended Wimbledon matches on several occasions before and, as great athletes themselves, are clearly fans of the sport.
As non-working members of the monarchy, the pair don’t tend to divulge their appearances in advance and can enjoy events like this without cutting ribbons or shaking hands.
