These are the most comfortable shoes on the internet

Wearing uncomfortable shoes is then last season! I mean, the only way to get we Stepping out of the house these days is if our shoes rival our slippers, and that’s an uphill battle to win. The truth is, no one has time for pinchy shoes, especially as the temperatures drop.

What to consider

Unfortunately, finding the most comfortable shoes for your feet can be trickier than you expect, especially if you want them to look stylish on top of everything (nerve!). According to the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), there are a few things you should do before buying to ensure you get the most comfortable choice:

  • Avoid shoes that need a “break-in” period.
  • Buy shoes that fit the widest foot.
  • Choose a pair that isn’t too tight or doesn’t pinch your toes.
  • Make sure the widest part of your foot matches the widest part of the shoe.
  • Avoid heels over 2 inches.
  • Try the shoes on later in the day, when feet tend to swell, and wear the socks you intend to wear with them for a better fit.

When it comes to structure, the APMA recommends shoes that meet at least some of the following criteria:

  • Leather upper for top of foot support
  • Stiff heel counter for support for the back of your foot
  • Supportive and comfortable padding and lining in the insoles
  • Flexibility in the ball of the foot

Now that you know what to really look for, consider the following comfortable pairs of shoes to get you (literally) through your day.
