The Latina-Owned Accessories Brand Camila Mendes and Jessica Alba Love Has a Collab to Target—Here’s What We’re Buying
Of course, I love to support all women-owned brands, but I have to admit that Jen Zeano Designs or JZD has a very special place in my heart. I’ve been following this brand’s journey on Instagram for a few years now and have seen them go from making shirts and sweatshirts sold online only from their homes, to moving into a warehouse and storefront, and today , land a JZD x Target Collab which allows their lifestyle brand to reach even more consumers. More, the brand is based in Brownsville, Texas, which I consider to be one of my hometowns. It’s a small town in South Texas near the Mexican border that’s full of Mexican influences and culture.
JZD belongs and designed by female and female duo, Jen and Vero. They originally launched in 2014 with a pink t-shirt that read “Latina Power,” and celebrities like Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, and Zoe Saldana quickly fell in love and voiced their support for the brand on instagram while wearing the now iconic t-shirt. The brand is known for its empowering t-shirts, sweatshirts, jewelry and accessories Spanish phrases on them as “vibras bonitas” or “good vibes” and “guerra” or “warrior”.

JZD is known to have a unique “nameplate” necklaces and this one designed for Target is now different. Guerrera translates to “warrior”, reminding us all to be our own heroes.
Pasa Nada Hat
Pas de pasa nada is slang for “it’s perfect,” so that you always usher in positive vibes when you wear this baseball cap.
Florecer Short Sleeve Tee
This gender-inclusive approach shirt reads “crecer florecer”, which translates to “grow and bloom”. This crew neck shirt is available in sizes XS to 3X.
This is probably my favorite model from the collection. When I was growing up, my mother used to say “que chula mija!” every time I left the house, which basically means “you’re so cute!” It sounds sweeter in Spanish ;). These Chula stud earrings by JZD are the perfect way to let the world know you’re cute and you know it.
