Tamil Nadu Shocker: Dead body of elderly man found stuffed in plastic bag in Chennai

Chennai, September 3: A shocking incident has been revealed in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, where the corpse of a 62-year-old man was found locked in a plastic bag on Saturday morning. The incident took place near Nerkundram in Chinmaya Nagar, reported India today.

Apparently the cops suspect that the old man was first murdered and then his body dumped on the spot. The incident came to light when health workers who had arrived at the workplace this morning first noticed the body. Following this, the workers informed the Virugambakkam police of the corpse. After receiving the information, the cops rushed to the scene and launched an investigation. Later, the man was identified as Baskaran, a businessman from Chennai. Apparently Baskaran’s phone was turned off last night and he was unreachable. His family reportedly filed a complaint with the police.

According to reports, the man’s hands and feet were bound and his mouth was stuffed with tissue. The deceased’s car was also found nearby.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The body has been subject to an autopsy by police who are currently scanning CCTV footage of the area for a clue. According to reports, 6 special teams have been formed by the Tamil Nadu police to catch the accused.
