With the fashion capital back in business for a few seasons post-pandemic, Paris Fashion Week’s Spring 23 season looks set to be one of its busiest, with major brands continuing the tradition of celebrity-filled shows and small brands rushing to reconnect with the industry IRL.

Big shows like Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Balmain, Balenciaga, Valentino and Chanel will continue to frame the week with blockbuster shows that are sure to accompany big celebrity moments. But emerging talent will also reappear more prominently. And there will be parties.

Check back here for all the updates on shoes, parties and more from Paris Fashion Week.

Christian Dior’s show at the Tuileries ignites an infinity of photo shoots

Aside from screaming fans erupting at the sight of celebrities such as Cha Eun-woo, Iris Law, Grace Van Patten, Alessandra Daddario and many (many) others, Dior’s Spring/Summer 23 show at the Tuileries Gardens in Paris on Tuesday provided what must have been one of the biggest gatherings of influencers (and wannabes) looking for a photoshoot against the gigantic tents. The scene was not all superficial, however: a group of women associated with the “Don’t Be Old Be Bold” movement took the opportunity to demonstrate from the show and even invited Maye Musk to participate. Curiously absent from both the stage and the (generally feminist) track were messages surrounding the protest against the death of Mahsa Amini in Iran.

‘Calzedomania’ kicks off Paris Fashion Week

Taking over Paris’s Palais Brongniart, the Italian tights brand brought glamor to PFW with a series of models (Jasmine Tookes, Sara Sampaio, Cindy Bruna, Tina Tunakey, Laetitia Casta and many more) as well as provocative bottoms – both on its guests and in an immersive installation that featured countless leg mannequins in colorful Calzedonia stockings.
