Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik will fill Alex Trebek’s shoes as “Jeopardy!” hosts | Nation

“Danger!” fans and attendees will get a double helping of hosts, with Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings set to share hosting duties for the trivia show’s upcoming 39th season. According to Deadline, Jennings and Bialik are working on a deal to split the hosting role.
Representatives for producer Sony Pictures Television declined to comment.
Neither Bialik nor Jennings are strangers to “Jeopardy!” arrange. The two served as hosts throughout the most recent season. The “Big Bang Theory” star and the “Jeopardy!” the champ has alternated hosting duties with other popular names including fan favorite LeVar Burton, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos.
Former “Jeopardy!” Executive producer Mike Richards had also served as host before leaving the show after his previous problematic remarks about women, Jews and ordinary people came to light.
Together, Bialik and Jennings will fill the shoes left by “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, who died in November 2020 of pancreatic cancer. He was 80 years old.
At this point, Bialik – who has a doctorate in neuroscience – is a “Jeopardy!” veterinary host. In addition to her duties in season 38, the “Call Me Kat” star hosted the show’s first teachers tournament in December 2021 and will most likely return to host “Celebrity Jeopardy!”
Jennings is a “Jeopardy!” 74 times! champion who returned to the series as a consulting producer in September 2020, just months before Trebek’s death.
