Katherine Ryan hits Ryanair for bag mix-up in Edinburgh before staying in town

Katherine Ryan has attacked Ryanair after the airline misplaced one of her bags before a concert in Edinburgh.

The Canadian-born comedian, actor and presenter was traveling to the capital for a special performance at the Playhouse on Saturday night May 29 and took to Instagram after one of his bags went missing.

Posting a short and sarcastic message about her story, Katherine said she was ‘shocked’ by how Ryanair had lost one of her bags and praised them for getting the other three safely to Edinburgh .

She said: “Absolutely shocked that Ryanair lost a bag on a short direct trip from Cork to Edinburgh, it should have been more.

“How they managed to get three sacks here is both a triumph and a mystery, well done!”.

Katherine took center stage in Edinburgh on Saturday night, performing her brand new live show, Missus.

The show focuses on her perspective on love, life and what it means to be a Missus, after the comedian previously spoke out about her relationship status.

Since Ryan’s last tour and her two Netflix comedy specials, In Trouble and Glitter Room, she’s married her first love.

Unfortunately for her, the trip to the capital didn’t start well and it doesn’t look like she’s going to let go anytime soon. No further updates on Katherine’s rogue baggage have been released since Saturday, so they may have finally been reunited.

The 38-year-old has had a stellar career so far, in more than one industry. She has appeared on various comedy show panels, including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week and Would I Lie to You, as well as several TV series such as Campus, Episodes and her aforementioned Netflix show, The Duchess.
