FootJoy Womens Links Shoes Review

As impressive leaders in the footwear industry, Footjoy is really starting to flex their muscles in less traditional options. Consider a woman’s needs to have multiple uses when it comes to footwear. These Links shoes would look out of place in a summer wardrobe paired with denim shorts for a day. Love Love Love the color choice of white and hunter green, again fresh and energizing. It’s a shame that the only other choices are White or Black. This would be a really fabulous model to include in FootJoy’s MYJOYS service where you could design your own color to coordinate with your favorite outfit.

The sole of these shoes offers enough traction to handle a ride in most conditions, we love the flash of lime green

They are quickly becoming a favorite “off the golf course” shoe. Exceeding the Adidas Adicross as featured in the guide to the best spikeless shoes, which really surprised me.

The leather is extremely plush and high quality and looks like the business. It is very easy to clean, making them look like new quickly. After testing them in dry and hot conditions as well as very humid conditions, my feet remained dry and comfortable. The traction of the sole is surprisingly effective. Not quite FootJoy’s Pro SL level, but I felt absolutely no movement as I swung over slippery fairways. Even when the grass got slippery from all that dry weather and scorched ground conditions, these shoes never wavered.

Plush leather and zesty color accents make them comfortable and stylish.

When it comes to comfort, my feet were singing while wearing them. The shoes feature Footjoy’s lightweight PU insole which really cushions the heel and gives my step a happy bounce. These can handle hard golf courses and my feet stayed comfortable and stayed at a consistent temperature.

My only complaint and this is a tiny one is that the laces used to come undone if I didn’t double knot. It was really a minor detail and easily corrected when a double knot was tied. It certainly wouldn’t put me off and I would have several pairs if the colors were a bit more adventurous. I have a feeling this will be one of FootJoy’s most successful models for years to come.

The only problem was that the laces came undone unless tied with a double knot. It wouldn't discourage us

I would wear them especially if there was a lot of walking or standing. Paired with jeans they look really smart and I got lots of compliments and questions about the brand. Plus, they’re FootJoys, they’re built to last.

Great job FootJoy. A shoe that performs just as well on the golf course as it does off it, the Links shoes really hit the mark.
