Downtown Laughlin, Nevada: A woman had her purse and medical kit stolen while playing a slot machine inside Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Tristan R. contacted ZachNews about the horrific crime that took place right after the 9:00 p.m. PT fireworks display celebrating Independence Day 2022.

According to Tristan R., Debbie is a long-term resident of Fort Mohave, Arizona, and has terminal cancer, and we took Debbie for the 4th and to celebrate her birthday earlier, July 7th.

After the fireworks, Debbie played bingo, then we took her to the slot machines for the end of the night.

She was playing on a machine located near the pizzeria and Cinnabon when a Caucasian male aged 25-30 grabbed her purse and medical kit and fled out the back door.

According to Tristan R., Debbie has a tracheostomy and can’t speak, and she couldn’t call for help, and all her medications were in her purse along with all the tubes and cleaning supplies for the Trach.

ZachNews has learned that a report has been filed with the Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas, including CCTV photos of the man and the white SUV he abducted were provided to law enforcement. order as part of their investigation.

ZachNews has contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Laughlin Substation and Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino Security for more information as well as photos of the suspect.

Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino Security tells ZachNews they will provide our contact to their investigators in regards to obtaining photos, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department tells ZachNews a detective is handling of this matter and will receive our contact regarding obtaining more information.
